A. GENERAL DESCRIPTION
Top Short series are excellent quality shortenings made from refined palm oil and used extensively in bakery and confectionery industries. Top Short products are available without and with 10% & 20% nitrogen sparging depending on customer's preference and application. All shortenings are supplied with 200 ppm permitted antioxidants.
B. Application
Top Short series have high shortening characteristics and is excellent for low temperature dough mixes and short pastry products. It is extensively used in the manufacturing of biscuits, cakes, pastries and laminated products where its properties contribute to good consistency, structure, excellent mouth feel and extended self life.
