1. COCOA BUTTER SUBSTITUTES

A . GENERAL DESCRIPTION

TOP CHOX is a top grade, fully refined bleached and deodorized cocoa butter substitute, derived from palm kernel stearin under the most selective condition of fractionation and hydrogenation. TOP CHOX is remarkably stable even at relatively high temperatures. The hardness is way beyond many of its kind in the market, yet it melts smoothly and abruptly with a highly desirable cooling sensation in the palate. It has excellent stability against oxidation, free from rancidity, soapiness and extraneous matter and impurities Top Chox is a non tempering fat.

B.  APPLICATIONS

TOP CHOX is designed for use in the hot summer months and in the normal tropical environment. It is also designed for those applications where large amount of coating ingredients containing soft oils are used. The special high solid content in the fat not only provides compatibility with high amount of diluents fat to give the finished product hardness but also provides the end products with a sharp melt.
